I've just been prescribed Cefpodoxim Prox 100mg/5ml for a sinus infection and wanted to connect with others who've taken this antibiotic. How did it work for you? I'm a bit concerned about the side effects, especially the severe ones. The doctor said it's rare, but it's always in the back of my mind. I want to make sure I take it correctly and finish the entire course. Any tips or personal experiences would be great!
I had a bad allergic reaction to this. Swelling in my throat and trouble breathing. Had to go to the ER. Be careful and keep an eye out for those symptoms!
Finish the entire course even if you start feeling better. My doctor emphasized this a lot. It's important to kill all the bacteria.

I had really bad diarrhea when I took it. Had to stop taking it and switch to something else. My doctor said it's pretty rare. Hope you won't have the same issues!
