Just had my first MRI with Vueway Inj, 7.5ml - what should I expect for side effects?
I recently underwent my first MRI scan using Vueway Inj, 7.5ml. The process went smoothly, but I'm a bit concerned about potential side effects. The nurse mentioned that while rare, there are some serious side effects to watch out for, like signs of an allergic reaction and kidney problems. Has anyone else had this dye and experienced any issues? I'm also curious about the less severe side effects, like dizziness or headache. Are these common?
I had a bad reaction to Vueway. I got hives and had trouble breathing. I had to be rushed to the ER. Make sure you're in a medical facility when you get the injection just in case. The ER doc told me that allergic reactions are rare but can be serious.
I had a reaction to a different contrast dye and just after the MRI for that they had me stay an extra half hour and checked my vitals every 15 minutes. They took it seriously and I felt protected. Definitely stay close to your doctor.
