Is the Bexsero vaccine worth it? My experience and side effects so far.
I recently got the Bexsero 0.5ml IM Pfs (10 Pack) vaccine to protect against meningitis and blood infections caused by serogroup B bacteria. So far, I've experienced some side effects like muscle pain and a fever, but nothing too severe. I'm curious to hear from others who have gotten this vaccine. What side effects did you experience, and would you recommend it to others? Also, how do we report side effects to the FDA/CDC if needed?
This vaccine is so important, but the side effects are intense. At least I did not experience any serious ones. Keeping my fingers crossed that everyone else is safe too!
I think the risks are worth it. Meningitis is so deadly that it's better to be safe rather than sorry. Thank goodness for vaccines like Bexsero!
I got the Bexsero vaccine last month and had a pretty rough time with it. I experienced severe dizziness and muscle pain for about a week. I reported it to my doctor, who said it could be side effects. I'd recommend reading up on the potential side effects carefully before getting it.
What about the long-term effects of this vaccine? Has anyone thought about that? I'm not too worried about the short-term side effects, but I'm more concerned about any long-term issues. I'd love to hear from a doctor about this.
I had no idea that dizziness could be a side effect! I've never had any issues with vaccines, but I'll keep an eye out for that.
I’m getting the vaccine next week, and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. Is the injection site pain really that bad?
I had some minor pain and redness at the injection site, but it went away within a day, and I had no problems at all. I'm glad I took the chance and got it done.
