Icar-C Tablets: Has Anyone Experienced Severe Side Effects?

I was prescribed Icar-C Tablets to treat my iron deficiency anemia and was doing well until I recently started experiencing some side effects, including severe stomach cramps and a change in stool color. I checked the leaflet and saw that these could be side effects, but I'm still concerned. Has anyone else experienced any of these side effects, and if so, what did you do? Or am I imagining things? Also, what are your thoughts on the safety of this drug? I'd appreciate any insights or advice you might have. Thanks!

Why would anyone take this stuff? It sounds terrible. I'm sticking to my spinach and red meat, thanks.

I had to switch to a different iron supplement because Icar-C gave me horrible stomach pain. It's a bummer because I liked how well it worked, but my body just couldn't handle it. Figure out what your body can handle and go with what works for you. Not everyone is going to have an easy time with this stuff.

I had some stomach issues but they went away after a few days. Make sure to take them on an empty stomach for better absorption. Relax your bowels with some water!

I've heard that taking vitamin C with iron supplements can help with absorption. Maybe try taking Icar-C with some orange juice or something? Just a thought!

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I felt like Icar-C helped my energy levels more than other iron supplements I've tried. I wish they were available to me now...
