How effective is Miconazole Nitrate 2% Cream for treating athlete's foot?
I've been struggling with athlete's foot for a few weeks now, and my doctor prescribed Miconazole Nitrate 2% Cream. I've seen some improvement, but it's not as fast as I expected. Does anyone know if it typically takes a while to see significant results? Also, has anyone experienced any side effects from this cream? I'm curious about what others have gone through.
No upsides, no downsides. I tried it for about a week and got a rash. I guess my skin just didn't like it. I switched to Lotrimin and it worked great for me.
I had a bad reaction to it. My skin got really red and irritated. I stopped using it and it went away after a few days.
I've heard people say to the cream during the day and use a drying powder like Zeasorb to help soak up extra moisture in the area at night. It might help if you switch up your routine a bit.
