Has anyone used Zovirax 5% Ointment for cold sores? How effective was it?
I've been struggling with cold sores for a while now, and my doctor prescribed Zovirax 5% Ointment. Has anyone here used it? How effective was it for you? I'm curious to hear about your experiences, especially regarding the application process and any side effects you might have encountered. I've used Zovirax for a while now, and I've found that it really helps speed up the healing process. I usually apply it as soon as I feel that tingle, and it keeps the outbreak from getting worse. Just make sure to wash your hands before and after application to avoid spreading the virus.
I started using it and haven't had much luck. It worked well enough, but the burning sensation was unbearable. I had to stop using it after a few days.

There are so many different treatments for herpes. I wonder if natural stuff works just as well.
