Has anyone used Tolnaftate 1% Cream for athlete's foot? What was your experience like?
I've been dealing with athlete's foot for a while now and my doctor prescribed Tolnaftate 1% Cream. I've heard mixed reviews about it, so I'm curious to know if anyone has used it and what their experience was like. How long did it take to see results? Did you experience any side effects? Any tips for using it effectively would be greatly appreciated!
I think Tolnaftate is great for mild to moderate cases but if you have a severe infection and it is not getting better, you should go see a specialist.
Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly after applying it. Don't want to spread the fungus elsewhere.
My doc told me to keep the area dry and wear breathable socks. Made a huge difference in how well the cream worked.
Just started using it. Day 3 and so far, so good. No side effects yet, but fingers crossed it keeps working.
I've used this stuff and it can be a bit messy. If you are a stickler for cleanliness like me, you might want to lay a towel or paper down to apply it.
