I recently found out that my child has a pinworm infection, and the pediatrician prescribed Reeses Pin-Worm Med Susp 30ml, which contains Pyrantel pamoate. I've read that it works by paralyzing the worms in the intestines, allowing them to be passed out in the stool. It's supposed to be taken as a single dose, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone used this medication before?
