Has anyone used Pramosone 1% Cream for eczema or dermatitis? Share your experiences!
I've been dealing with eczema for years, and my doctor recently prescribed Pramosone 1% Cream. It contains pramoxine to numb the skin and hydrocortisone to reduce inflammation. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this cream for conditions like eczema, dermatitis, or even hemorrhoids. How effective was it for you? Did you experience any side effects? Specifically, I'm keen to know if anyone has dealt with any of the more serious side effects mentioned, like signs of an allergic reaction or adrenal gland issues. Be careful with steroid creams. I had this problem with another steroid cream, and I got terrible stretch marks when I used it all over my body. It may not apply to this specific cream, but it's something to keep an eye on. It might be worth asking your doctor.
I've been using it on and off for a few months, no issues so far. But I always do a patch test before applying it all over just to be safe.
Not sure, but the side effects list is pretty long! Maybe this is the reason why this medication might be prescribed cautiously?
