Has anyone used Neosporin Ophth Soln for eye infections? What was your experience?

I was prescribed Neosporin Ophth Soln 10ml for a bacterial eye infection. The doctor said it contains neomycin, polymyxin B, and gramicidin to fight the bacteria. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the allergic reactions. Has anyone else used this? How did it work for you? Were there any side effects?

I had a terrible experience with this. Started getting a lot of eye discharge and pain. Ended up in the ER. Well worth staying away.

I had some bad side effects, and I think it would make more sense to look into other options. I was not a fan.

I've used it a few times and it's always worked for me. Just make sure you're not allergic to any of the ingredients first.

My friend had and allergic reaction to it but it worked well for me. Be careful out there.

Be careful with this stuff. I had a mild allergic reaction with some itching and redness. Had to stop using it and go for something else.

My doctor recommended this for a conjunctivitis. It worked pretty well, but I did have some irritation. Just make sure to keep your eyes clean and be careful.

I didn't have any side effects, but I found it a little hard to use. Any tips for applying eye drops?

I switched to a different antibiotic because of eye irritation and discharge. I know what you mean about being nervous about side effects.
