Has anyone used Lubrifresh P.M. Opth Oint3.5gm for chronic dry eye? Please share your experiences
I've recently been diagnosed with chronic dry eye and my doctor prescribed Lubrifresh P.M. Opth Oint3.5gm to use at night. The ointment is supposed to help soothe and protect my eyes while I sleep, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects. Has anyone else used this and what was your experience? I'm particularly interested in knowing if the ointment really makes a difference and if the potential side effects are manageable or overstated. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
Honestly, I found Lubrifresh P.M. to be a lifesaver. It’s like a tiny bit of heaven that I can put in my eyes.
My doctor recommended it and I really like the way it feels. I apply it before bed and it keeps my eyes moisturized throughout the night. It's a little greasy, but that's expected.
I had some irritation at first when I used it, so I talked to my doctor and she advised me to use less. It's much better now.
I stopped using it because my eyes felt weirdly sticky. Also, I was worried about the potential allergic reactions. I'd rather not risk it.
