Has anyone used L-M-x 4%/10 Tegaderm (formerly Ela-Max) for minor skin procedures? Share your experiences!
I've been prescribed L-M-x 4%/10 Tegaderm for a minor skin procedure to reduce pain and itching. I've never used it before, so I'm curious to hear from others who have. Has anyone had any side effects, or can you share your experience? I'm particularly interested in hearing about any unexpected reactions or benefits. Also, what are your thoughts on how effective it is compared to similar topical anesthetics? I've heard it works by blocking nerve signals, but I'm not sure how it compares to lidocaine or other options. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!
I used it to take of a mole and it was great. Really helped with the pain. It's not bad at all, just follow the instructions!
I had a friend who used this and ended up with a bad skin infection. I wonder if she didn't follow the instructions properly.
I had a bad reaction to it. I got severe hives and had to go to the ER. Be careful if you have allergies. Don't see any mention of rectal use.
I used it for a small procedure and it was great. No pain at all, but I did have some redness around the area for a few hours.
It's better than lidocaine in my experience, but I did feel a bit lightheaded after applying it. Might have been a coincidence though.
