Has anyone used Halobetasol 0.05% Ointment for psoriasis? How effective is it?
I've been prescribed Halobetasol 0.05% Ointment for my psoriasis and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. Has anyone else used this? How effective was it for you, and did you experience any of the more serious side effects like high blood sugar or Cushing's syndrome? I'm also curious about the long-term effects since I've seen it should only be used for a short time.
Just remember to use it sparingly and only as prescribed. It's not a long-term solution.
This stuff is crazy strong. If it's not working, maybe it’s time to consider something else.
I've used it a few times and it helped but you must stop using it if it stops working. That's what my derm said.
I actually got some weird swelling in my face but it went away after I stopped the ointment. Now I stick to milder creams.
