Has anyone used Glycopyrrolate 0.4mg/2ml Inj, 2ml? What's your experience?
I've been prescribed Glycopyrrolate 0.4mg/2ml Inj, 2ml for an upcoming surgery to help control my heart rate and reduce secretions. I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone here used this medication? What was your experience like? I'd love to hear about any side effects you encountered and how you managed them. Also, any tips on how to minimize discomfort would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I had to use it for my surgery and was afraid of the side effects. I am 10 years in now and have not gone through anything. It's a pretty safe drug to use, but is best used when needed for a surgery or an emergency.
I agree with the side effects listed. I have had a bad experience with a friend of mine who reacted to this medicine. They had trouble urinating, and while it was scary, the doctors were able to reverse it. So, if it happens to you, seek immediate medical help.
I had a really bad experience with this drug. I couldn't sweat at all during my surgery and I ended up with heat exhaustion. I'd recommend talking to your doctor about alternatives if you're prone to overheating.
I used this during my last surgery and it was a game-changer for reducing secretions. Only had dry mouth and a bit of dizziness, but nothing serious.
I didn't get any of the serious side effects, but the dry mouth was insane. I couldn't even talk because my mouth was so dry. I'd recommend having some sugarless gum or throat lozenges on hand. Anybody else get this?
The medication worked well for me, but I did experience some drowsiness and a headache. I suggest resting for a while and staying hydrated after getting it. Dryness in the mouth was a problem for me, and I used these breath mints to combat it.
I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the changes in taste. It was like everything I ate had a weird metallic taste for a week. Glad I didn't have to have longer than that.
I had a really bad experience with it. I had severe abdominal pain after the injection, and I had to be treated with some other medicines in the ER.
Why do I even need to be worried about erectile dysfunction? I mean, this is a surgery drug, not Viagra.
