Has anyone used Cleocin T 1% Topical Solution for acne? How effective is it?
I've been struggling with persistent acne for months, and my dermatologist prescribed me Cleocin T 1% Topical Solution. It's a topical antibiotic designed to kill the bacteria that cause acne and reduce inflammation. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the rare but serious ones like allergic reactions and C. diff-associated diarrhea. Has anyone else used this? How effective was it for you, and did you experience any side effects? Any tips for applying it or combining it with other treatments would be great.
I used Cleocin T for a few months and it worked wonders for my acne. I applied it twice a day as directed and saw a significant reduction in breakouts within a couple of weeks. The only side effect I had was some minor irritation, but it went away after a week. Definitely worth trying if you're struggling with acne.
I've been using Cleocin T for about a month now, and it's been a game-changer. My skin is much clearer, and the irritation at the site of application was minimal and went away quickly. I've been careful to avoid the eyes and mouth, and I always wash my hands before and after applying it.
I tried it but had to stop because of severe dryness and burning. I'm not sure if it was worth the pain. It might work for some people but it definitely wasn't for me.
I’m a bit worried about the potential for a severe allergic reaction. Has anyone had any issues with that?
Is anyone combining this with other topical treatments? Like, how would it go with benzoyl peroxide or retinol?
Be careful with this stuff if you have sensitive skin.
Just make sure to apply it to clean skin, avoid the eyes and mouth, and give it time to work. My skin looks much better now, and I’m really happy with the results. Just be patient and take care of your skin.
I've used it for a week and honestly, it feels like it’s not doing much.
