Has anyone used Betamethasone Dip Aug 0.05% for eczema? How did it go?
I've been dealing with eczema for years, and I recently picked up Betamethasone Dip Aug 0.05% Lot 60ml to see if it helps with the redness and itching. Has anyone else used this? I'm curious to hear about your experiences, especially with the serious side effects mentioned. Did you have any issues, or was it smooth sailing? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Also, is it ok to use it in combination with other creams? I've been using it in combination with a cream from a different brand and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. What is the best way to apply? Before, after or with other creams?
Use it sparingly. It's tempting to slather it on when you're in pain, but it's not good to have your body exposed to topical steroids, especially long-term. Be careful!
I would not recommend using it in combination with other creams. I tried using it with a different brand's cream and it irritated my skin significantly. I'm not even sure why they sell these creams if they are only going to make the conditions worse and cause allergies. This whole experience just got me questioning if there is any cream that works on these conditions.
I used this for my eczema flare-ups, and I think it helped too much. I had to stop using it regularly and went back to just using my moisturizer and I see results just the same. I don’t know if it was the topical steroid or the combination of it with my moisturizer but I stopped and I’m glad I did, as the side effects were coming back. Be careful!!
I used it on my scalp for psoriasis, and it was a game-changer. I noticed some hair growth in the area too, which was a nice side effect. I would recommend it to anyone who has psoriasis.
