Has anyone tried Xigduo XR 10mg/1000mg for Type 2 Diabetes and have any tips to share?
I was just prescribed Xigduo XR 10mg/1000mg for my type 2 diabetes and I don't know much about it. I’ve heard the combination of dapagliflozin and metformin helps a lot but I’m curious to know from people who have tried it. Do you experience any specific side effects? Are there any lifestyle changes that make the medication work better? I’ve read about the potential side effects like UTIs and yeast infections, so any tips on managing those would be super helpful too. Make sure you keep on top of your hydration. The increased urination can lead to dehydration really quickly. I keep a water bottle on me all the time.
I’ve been on Xigduo XR for a few months now and it’s really helped with my blood sugar levels. I did have some initial stomach issues, but they went away after a couple of weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated, that helps a lot with the side effects.
