Has anyone tried Rydex Liquid for cold and cough symptoms? Share your experiences!

I've been suffering from a terrible cold and cough combo, and my doctor prescribed Rydex Liquid. It's got pseudoephedrine, brompheniramine, and codeine. Has anyone else tried this? I'm curious about how well it works and if anyone has experienced any of the side effects listed. The serious ones are scary, but hopefully, they're rare. I'm mostly just looking for some real-life experiences and tips on how to manage this stuff effectively.

I had a really bad reaction to the codeine in it. Ended up with some serious dizziness and but it is worth it for me

I use it every time I get a cold, it makes me sleepy and a bit loopy, but the relief is amazing. Worth it for me for sure

I tried Rydex Liquid last winter and it worked wonders for my stuffy nose and cough. No side effects for me, thankfully. Just make sure to follow the dosage instructions carefully.

I switched to a different cough syrup because Rydex Liquid made me feel jittery and anxious. The side effects were awful for me.

I've taken this before and it helped with the runny nose and sneezing. Just be careful, it can make you really drowsy. Definitely don't drive or operate heavy machinery after taking it.

I had some mild constipation but nothing unbearable. Overall, it helped with my cold symptoms, but I wish it didn't have codeine. I'm always worried about addiction.

I tried this and it gave me a rash. I went to the doctor and he gave me a different medication. Turns out I was allergic to the antihistamine.

I took this once and ended up with a severe headache. Never again for me. But everyone's different, so it might work for you.
