Has anyone tried Hetlioz 20mg Capsules for sleep disorders related to blindness? What was your experience?
I have a friend who is totally blind and has been struggling with sleep disorders for years. They recently started taking Hetlioz 20mg Capsules, which is designed to help reset the body's natural sleep-wake clock. I'm curious to hear from anyone who has experience with this medication. How effective has it been for you? What side effects, if any, have you encountered? I'd also like to know if there are any alternative treatments or lifestyle changes that have helped manage sleep issues related to blindness.
I've had to deal with these problems myself. I take it every night at around 9:00, and I'm sleeping by 10 or 10:30. I've been using it for about 3 years now. I think the main concern is the other medications you take. If you can, it is ideal to only take one thing at night. It's impossible to reset your circadian rhythm if you are taking a bunch of other stuff. It has been amazing for me.
