Has anyone taken Paxlovid (300/100mg) for COVID-19? Share your experiences and side effects!
I've been prescribed Paxlovid, the new antiviral treatment for COVID-19, and I'm feeling a bit nervous. I've read that it can have some serious side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Did you notice any changes in taste or other side effects? How did you feel overall while on the medication? Also, how did the medication affect your COVID symptoms? Any tips for managing side effects would be greatly appreciated!
I took Paxlovid and it was a game-changer. My symptoms started to improve within a day or two, and I never experienced any severe side effects. Just a slight change in taste, but nothing major. Highly recommend if you're at high risk!
I was worried about the side effects too, but I had a pretty mild experience. Just some diarrhea and muscle pain, but nothing I couldn't handle. Overall, I felt like it helped me recover faster.
Paxlovid saved my life. I was in a high-risk group and my doctor said Paxlovid was a godsend. No major side effects and it helped me bounce back from a bad COVID case.
This thread is worrying me. I'm supposed to start Paxlovid tomorrow. Guess I'll just have to hope for the best and keep a close eye on any side effects. Thanks, everyone, for sharing your experiences.
I took it and had a pretty bad reaction. I developed a nasty rash and my doctor said it was likely an allergic reaction. They had to switch me to a different treatment. It's scary stuff, so be careful.
I'm on day 3 of Paxlovid and so far, so good. No major side effects, just a slight headache. Hoping it kicks the COVID symptoms to the curb soon. Fingers crossed!
