Has anyone taken Furosemide 80mg Tablets and experienced severe side effects?
I've been prescribed Furosemide 80mg Tablets to manage my edema and lower my blood pressure. I know it's a common diuretic, but the list of possible side effects is quite long and scary. Has anyone else taken this medication, and if so, what was your experience like? Did you encounter any of the urgent side effects mentioned, like allergic reactions or kidney problems? I'm particularly worried about the skin reactions. I'd love to hear from anyone who has taken this and can share their story.
I'm a nurse and I've seen patients have severe electrolyte imbalances from this. Please be careful and watch out for signs of fluid and electrolyte problems.
I had a horrible reaction to Furosemide. I developed a severe rash and had to stop taking it immediately. Your doctor should monitor you closely, if you have to take it
Make sure to eat a banana every day to keep your potassium levels up. Side effects can be mitigated with the right diet and enough water
I've been on Furosemide for a year and have had some dizziness and headaches, but nothing severe. Make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your electrolyte levels.
The doctor told me to call him immediately if I noticed any shortness of breath. I'm a bit worried about that, it sounds really dangerous.
I had muscle cramps terribly, but they went away when I increased my potassium intake.
I had a funny case with this. The medication made me have to pee so badly and so often, i never left the bathroom, I had to work from there.
