Has anyone taken Capmist DM Tablets for a bad cold? What was your experience?

I've been dealing with a nasty cold for the past few days, and my doctor recommended trying Capmist DM Tablets. I've heard mixed things about it, so I wanted to ask if anyone here has tried it. What were your experiences? Did it help with the chest congestion and cough? Any side effects to be aware of? I'm also curious about how it stacks up against other cold medications. Thanks in advance for sharing!

I took Capmist DM last winter and it was a game-changer. It really helped with the congestion and cough, but I did feel a bit jittery because of the pseudoephedrine. Definitely don't take it before bed if you can't sleep easily.

I didn’t have any side effects, but my doctor said it can be harder to get a hold of because of the pseudoephedrine.

Capmist DM worked well for my sore throat and cough, but it gave me a weird taste in my mouth. I'm not sure if it was a side effect or just the medication itself. But it cleared up the congestion quickly.

I took it once and felt like I was on a rollercoaster with how nervous I got. It was awful, and I wouldn't recommend it for that reason alone.

I had a similar experience with guaifenesin. It always helped, but I had to make sure I didn't take it too close to bedtime. I got the jitters at 2 AM and couldn't sleep.

I've had good experiences with the generic version, but I didn't realize it had side effects. I had a bit of trouble sleeping too.

I had a bad reaction to a similar decongestant last year but I didn't know it was a combination drug until later. I wish I'd known about the allergic reactions.
