Has anyone had success with Locoid 0.1% Cream 15gm for treating eczema or psoriasis?

I've been prescribed Locoid 0.1% Cream 15gm for my eczema. Has anyone else used this? It contains hydrocortisone butyrate, and I know it works on inflammation, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. So… has anyone had success with it? How long until it kicks in? Any tips on how to apply it to get maximum effect?

Just a heads up to keep it away from your face and mouth! I accidentally got some in my eye, and it really burned. Always wash your hands afterwards. And check the directions about which parts to apply and how.

I've been using Locoid for a few weeks now, and it's been a lifesaver. My skin is finally clearing up, and the itching has reduced significantly. Just be careful not to get it in your eyes or mouth.

Did anyone experience severe side effects? I read about potential issues with high blood sugar and weak adrenal glands, and I'm freaking out a bit.

I had a mild reaction at first too, so make sure to use it exactly as prescribed. I recommend wearing gloves when you apply it because that helped me avoid getting it on my hands or in my eyes.

I had a weird side effect, but it might have just been a coincidence. My skin started thinning in the area I was applying it, and it also made me a bit more hungry than usual..

I’ve been using it for a month now, and it's worked wonders on my psoriasis. The only thing I noticed is some skin dryness. Make sure to moisturize well after applying!

I had to stop using Locoid because it made my skin super dry and flaky. I think I might have an allergy to it, but the doctor said that it's hard to tell without a patch test. I hope it works better for others...

Locoid gave me skin thinning, and it had some burning sensations, but I can see it's working. Not going to lie, I was a bit scared at first about the potential side effects. I hope it doesn't cause any long-term problems. I approached my doctor about it, and they said that sometimes it can happen.
