Has anyone had success treating IBS with Hyosyne 0.125mg/5ml Elixir, or what did you experience?
I've been struggling with IBS for a while now and my doctor prescribed Hyosyne 0.125mg/5ml Elixir. I'm curious if anyone has had success with this medication for IBS, or if you have any advice on managing the side effects. I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the more serious ones. I'm hoping to hear from people who have taken it so I can get a better sense of what to expect.
Be careful with this one. I had some pretty bad hallucinations and had to stop taking it immediately. Definitely consult your doctor if you experience anything unusual.

I've been on Hyosyne for a few months now and it's been a game-changer for my IBS symptoms. The cramps and spasms have significantly reduced, but I did experience some dizziness at first. It went away after a week.
