Has anyone had severe side effects from taking Trilafon 2mg Tablets?
I was recently prescribed Trilafon 2mg Tablets for severe nausea and vomiting and I've been hearing horror stories about the side effects. Does anyone have experience with this medication? What were the side effects like? Did anyone experience any of the severe side effects like neuroleptic malignant syndrome or tardive dyskinesia? I am genuinely worried. If anyone has had positive experiences with this medication, I would love to hear those too. Otherwise, I am considering dropping it altogether.
Be careful with this medication. My friend developed tardive dyskinesia after a year of use and it was terrible. I'd recommend talking to your doctor about alternatives.
I had a bad reaction to Trilafon too. I ended up in the hospital with severe allergic symptoms, it was scary. I'd definitely be cautious.
I wish I'd known about these side effects before starting Trilafon. I had no idea it could be so bad. I'm lucky I didn't experience any of the really severe ones, but I still had enough issues to want to switch to something else.
I've been on Trilafon for a few months and haven't had any major issues. Just some drowsiness and a bit of a dry mouth, but nothing too bad.
I don't think it's worth the risk. My doctor prescribed it for schizophrenia, but after a couple of weeks, I started having some real stomach issues, plus a bit of a weight gain. It's crazy. I switched over to something like Abilify and I feel so much better.
I've been on a few different medications for schizophrenia, and Trilafon was one of the worst. I had some really bad dreams and felt like I was constantly restless. I'd stick to a better anticonvulsant.

Have any of you tried switching to a natural remedy? I've heard ginger can help with nausea and vomiting. It's worth a shot if you're not keen on the side effects of Trilafon.
Yeah, I can definitely see why you'd be worried. I had a few friends who took Trilafon and had some pretty bad reactions. I'd definitely talk to your doctor about it.
