Has anyone had severe side effects from Cedax 180/5ml Suspension 60ml?
I was prescribed Cedax 180/5ml Suspension 60ml for a severe ear infection. The doctor said it's a good antibiotic for this type of infection. I've started taking it, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects, especially the severe ones listed. Has anyone had experience with this medication? Did you encounter any of the severe side effects like allergic reactions, seizures, or C. diff-associated diarrhea? I also read that it can cause an upset stomach and diarrhea, so I'm wondering how common these are. Did your doctor give you any tips to manage these side effects?
I had a bad reaction to it. Got a rash all over my body and had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER. Scary stuff.
I'm surprised more people aren't aware of the potential for C. diff. Make sure to finish the full course even if you feel better.
I took Cedax for bronchitis last year and didn't experience any severe side effects. Just a bit of an upset stomach, but it went away after a couple of days. Make sure to take it with food to help with that!
