Has anyone had serious side effects from using Sorbitol 70% Solution?
I've been using Sorbitol 70% Solution for a few weeks now to manage occasional constipation, and it's been effective so far. However, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones. I've experienced some mild stomach cramps, but nothing too severe. I had a really bad reaction to it. Swelling in my throat and trouble breathing. Scared the hell out of me. Went to the ER and they said it was an allergic reaction. Never touching that stuff again.
I think it's hilarious how people complain about these mild side effects. It's a sugar alcohol, not a miracle drug. You'll be fine. Just don't overdo it.
