Has anyone had serious side effects from Potassium Phosphate 3mm/ml Inj 15ml?
I was prescribed Potassium Phosphate 3mm/ml Inj 15ml to replace low levels of phosphate and potassium in my blood. I know it's important for my bones, energy, and muscles, but I'm a bit worried about the side effects. Has anyone else had this medication? I'm particularly concerned about the serious side effects like signs of allergic reaction or high potassium levels. Any insights or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!
This medication is a lifesaver for those with severe deficiencies. The side effects are rare, and the benefits usually outweigh the risks. Just keep in touch with your healthcare provider. If you're feeling lightheaded or have abnormal heartbeats, go to the ER!
I ended up with a terrible rash and itching from it. I couldn't stop scratching. It was awful. I'm glad I'm not on it anymore. Be careful and report it immediately.
I've had this before and honestly, the injection site was a bit sore but nothing too bad. I didn't get any of the serious side effects. But it's always good to be cautious and have a doctor on hand!
I had this medication after a long bout of diarrhea and it worked well. My potassium and phosphate levels were quickly balanced. I think my stomach would have been worse if I had to go through some of the other side effects, but I suggest just keeping an eye on your blood work!
I've had severe reactions to other meds, and I don't like the sound of this at all. I'd personally be very wary of it. Might it be possible to get it in a different form?
You would think with all the testing drugs go through, we wouldn't have to worry about any side effects, but the FDA number is right there. You really couldn't imagine anything worse than severe stomach pain with vomiting!
