Has anyone had serious side effects from Lidocaine 2%/epinephrine 0.001% Inj?
I'm about to have a procedure where this local anesthetic will be used, and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. The list of possible side effects is quite long, and some of them sound really serious. I've heard of Lidocaine before, but I can’t say I am familiar with Epinephrine. If anyone has had personal experience with this drug or can offer some reassurance, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
Always read the side effects list but most people don’t get any of these. Just be on the safe side and let the doctor know if you feel anything weird.
If you're worried, maybe ask your doctor about an alternative. There are other local anesthetics out there. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!

I had this and got really cold. My dentist said it was just the adrenaline part of the mix. Weird how that happens, but it’s normal. Drink some warm tea if it happens.
If you’re really worried, just ask for a numb spray or something instead. It’s not as strong. But usually, this stuff is fine.
