Has anyone had good results with Temovate 0.05% Cream for eczema? What were the side effects?

I've been struggling with eczema for years and my dermatologist prescribed Temovate 0.05% Cream. I've heard it's really strong and can have some serious side effects. Has anyone else used this and what was your experience? Did you find that it helped with redness and itching? How long did it take to see results? I'm nervous about the potential side effects, especially the allergic reactions and skin thinning. Any advice or personal stories would be really helpful!

I've had good results with it, but it's definitely not something you want to mess with. I've had side effects when I've used it in the past. So be careful with it. On the right person, it's a miracle drug

I've been using it for a few weeks and it's worked miracles. The redness and itching are almost gone. Just make sure you're putting it on a thin layer and only on the affected area. Also, try to wash your hands after to avoid spreading the steroid.

I've had good luck with Temovate. It cleared my eczema up in a few days. I only used a tiny amount on the really bad patches and it worked well. No side effects at all, but I also used it very sparingly.

I've used Temovate for psoriasis and it worked wonders! But you're right, it's super potent. I had some skin thinning, but nothing too bad. Just be careful and use it exactly as prescribed.

It's a powerful cream. I used it for a few weeks and it cleared up my eczema. Just don't overuse it. The side effects can be nasty.

I used temovate and was fine, but my skin was a lot less sensitive and thinner. I had to apply it at specific portions so I don't irritate my skin. Obviously consult with your dermatologist first.

Be aware that this stuff is no joke. My friend used it and ended up with Cushing's syndrome. Scary stuff. Stick to the prescription and if anything feels off, stop and talk to your doctor.

This cream is super strong. I've been using it and I've noticed some thinning of my skin. I've been keeping an eye on it and so far, no other serious side effects. But it's definitely something to be aware of.

I used temovate for a few weeks and got really frustrated with the results. I got some thinning of my skin, and my doc said to stop using it immediately. I'm now trying a weaker topical steroid and hoping for the best.
