Has anyone had experience with Vimpat 200mg/20ml Inj for rapid seizure control?
I was recently prescribed Vimpat 200mg/20ml Injection for seizure management, as I've had trouble taking oral medications due to sudden episodes. The doctor explained that it works by affecting nerve signals in the brain to reduce electrical activity, but I'm a bit wary of the potential side effects. Has anyone had experience with this injection? I'm hoping to hear some personal stories or advice on managing it. I had a really bad allergic reaction to it. Swollen throat, hives everywhere. I had to go to the ER. It was scary but I'm glad I got medical attention right away.
