Has anyone had experience with Mephyton 5mg Tablets (Phytonadione/Vitamin K1)?
I've been prescribed Mephyton 5mg Tablets to help with my blood clotting issues due to warfarin use. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. How effective has it been for you? What were the side effects like? The prescribing information lists some serious allergic reactions, so I'm a bit nervous. Has anyone experienced any of those issues? I had a bad reaction to Mephyton. I got this weird rash all over my body, and it was really itchy. I had to stop taking it and went to the ER. Be careful and keep an eye out for any skin reactions.
Mephyton is great, but make sure you don't take it with certain antibiotics or other meds. Always consult your doctor.
