Has anyone had experience with Feraheme 510mg/17ml Inj? Craving your stories and tips!
This month, Ive been prescribed Feraheme for iron deficiency anemia. Ive always struggled with taking iron pills, so Im hoping this IV medication will finally make a difference. Ive read about some serious side effects, though, and Im admittedly pretty nervous about starting. Has anyone here had experience with Feraheme? I'd love to hear any stories or tips you might have. Which side effects did you experience? How did you manage them? Also, if you had any allergic reactions to Feraheme, how did your doctor handle it? Any insight from family members or care providers who help with your treatment management would be great too.
I wish I could take iron by mouth, but my stomach just cant handle it. Feraheme was a game-changer for me. It's been a lifesaver.
Feraheme saved my life. I was so tired all the time. The side effects werent too bad, but make sure to go see the doctor if you have trouble breathing. Thats a big no-no.

My husband had a huge allergic reaction. The swelling in his arms and legs was intense, and it was scary. If you experience any of the allergic reactions, go to the ER right away.
