This medication is a combination of amino acids, dextrose, and electrolytes, and is administered when a patient cannot eat or absorb nutrients properly through their digestive system. I'm curious to know if anyone has had experience with this and what side effects they encountered. The possible side effects listed are quite extensive and range from mild irritation at the injection site to severe, life-threatening reactions. It’s a bit overwhelming.
