Has anyone had any success or adverse effects with Alendronate 35mg for osteoporosis?
I've been prescribed Alendronate 35mg Tablets to treat my osteoporosis, and I'm curious to hear from others who have taken it. How long did you take the medication, and did you notice any significant improvements in your bone density? Side effects? Any tips on taking it effectively would be greatly appreciated– like the exact timing or any tricks to avoid the awful stomach issues it can cause.
This drug has been a lifesaver for me. I was diagnosed with severe osteoporosis, and Alendronate has helped me regain some bone density. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully to avoid side effects.
I am a 75yo female and have been taking Alendronate for 4 years now. It has been a game-changer for my osteoporosis. I have not experienced any of the serious side effects but I am very careful to always take it with a full glass of water and stay upright for 30 minutes. I highly recommend it for anyone dealing with osteoporosis!
Anyone else have issues with the taste? I gag every time I have to take it. Not the worst side effect but it sucks.
My doctor recommended staying upright for 30 minutes after taking it to avoid any esophageal problems. It's a pain, but it works.
I’ve heard horror stories about the jaw pain and other side effects though. It might be worth looking into alternative treatments.
