Has anyone had any issues with Hailey 1.5/30 Tablets 21 birth control?
Hi all, I was prescribed Hailey 1.5/30 tablets 21 for birth control. It contains ethinyl estradiol and norethindrone, and works by preventing ovulation. I'm a bit nervous about the possible side effects, especially the urgent ones. Has anyone had any issues with this birth control? I'd love to hear your experiences and any tips you might have, especially regarding the more serious side effects. If you've had any severe reactions, I'd really appreciate your input on how you dealt with them. Also curious about how everyone is doing with the more common side effects like nausea and headaches. Actually, the weight gain is just water retention. It'll go away after you stop taking the pills, at least it did for me. But yeah, it's annoying while you're taking them.
I've been on Hailey for about 6 months now and haven't had any serious side effects. I did have some spotting for the first few months, but it went away. Just make sure to take it at the same time every day!
I switched from a different birth control to this one last month. I've had some mood swings and a bit of a headache, but nothing too bad. The main thing I've noticed is that I've had a lot less cramping and pain during my periods. I also got the same issue with spotting, but that went away after about 2 weeks. Worth sticking it out if the common side effects aren't too bad.
I had a friend who had really bad headaches and nausea with this one. She switched to a different brand and it was a Night and day difference. Might be worth keeping an eye on those symptoms.
