Has anyone found relief using Proctofoam NS 1% Aer Foam? Quick overview and warnings!
I've been dealing with some hemorrhoid issues and my doctor recommended trying Proctofoam NS 1% Aer Foam. The active ingredient, pramoxine, is supposed to numb the area and relieve pain and itching. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone had experience with this? I'd love to know how it worked for you and if you encountered any issues.

This stuff is a lifesaver. I used it for a week and it took care of the pain and itching pretty quickly. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully and don't use it more than recommended. I did break out in a rash once but it was minor and went away.
Be super careful with this stuff. I ended up with bleeding from the rectum and had to go to the ER. It wasn't worth the aggravation. I'd recommend finding another remedy.
