Has anyone experienced significant side effects from Polocaine-Mpf 10mgml Sdpf 25x30ml (Mepivacaine)?
I'm curious to hear from anyone who has had experience with Polocaine-Mpf 10mgml Sdpf 25x30ml, which is used to numb specific areas of the body during medical or dental procedures. It works by temporarily blocking nerve signals. However, while rare, there are some severe side effects that can occur, like signs of an allergic reaction, acidosis, methemoglobinemia, and other severe issues. Has anyone had any firsthand experience with these side effects? How did you manage them? Were there any specific things you did to mitigate the risks? I had a patient who experienced seizures after using Mepivacaine. It was pretty intense. They had to be hospitalised and monitored. Make sure you have someone who knows first aid nearby just in case!
