Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Viracept 625mg Tablets for HIV treatment?
I've recently started taking Viracept 625mg Tablets as part of my HIV treatment regimen. The medicine has been effective in reducing the viral load, but I've been experiencing some unusual side effects. Specifically, I'm dealing with constant stomach pain and diarrhea. My doctor mentioned these could be common, but I'm wondering if anyone else has faced similar issues or even worse ones like allergic reactions or unexplained bruising. How have you managed these side effects, and what advice would you give to someone starting out on this medication? Additionally, I'm curious about the long-term effects and if anyone has experienced any significant changes in body fat or new signs of infection. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
I feel you on the stomach pain. It's awful! I've found that eating smaller, more frequent meals helps a bit. Also, try to avoid fatty foods.
I know it’s tough, but just remember that managing HIV is a journey. Stick with it, and don’t hesitate to talk to your doctor about any concerns.
I've been on this for years and haven't had any major issues. Just make sure to keep an eye on your blood sugar levels, as some people have experienced high blood sugar.
I've been on Viracept for a few months now, and the diarrhoea is a real pain, but it's manageable with some over-the-counter meds. Just make sure to stay hydrated!
I switched from Viracept to a different protease inhibitor due to the side effects. I'm doing well now, so maybe consider talking to your doctor about other options.
I had some really bad allergic reactions at first, but my doctor switched me to a lower dose and it helped a lot. Hang in there!
I wish I could help, but I switched to a different protease inhibitor because of the side effects. Best of luck though.
I've never had severe issues, but I do notice changes in body fat distribution. It's frustrating, but I try to focus on the positive effects the meds have on my overall health.
