Has anyone experienced severe side effects from using Prevident 5000 Plus Cream (fruit) toothpaste?
I've been using Prevident 5000 Plus Cream (fruit) toothpaste for about a month now, as prescribed by my dentist to help prevent cavities. I've noticed some mild stomach upset, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced more severe side effects like allergic reactions or severe vomiting. The toothpaste has a high concentration of fluoride, which is great for my enamel, but I want to make sure I'm not risking my health. Has anyone else had any unusual reactions, or should I be concerned about the stomach upset? I've read the side effects list, but I'd love to hear some real-life experiences.
If your teeth are sensitive, try using a different toothbrush and see if that helps. Sometimes it’s the brush not the paste.
I had trouble breathing after using it, but that was an allergic reaction and thankfully rare. Had to switch to a different toothpaste.
I had a mild rash when I first started using it. I stopped for a week, then tried again, and it didn’t come back. Maybe give it a break and see if it's persistent.
