Has anyone experienced severe side effects from using Hydrocortisone 1% Ointment for eczema?
I've been using Hydrocortisone 1% Ointment for my eczema for a few weeks now, and while it's helped with the itching and redness, I'm worried about the potential side effects. The package insert lists some pretty scary things like allergic reactions and signs of high blood sugar. Has anyone else experienced any of these side effects? I'd love to hear your stories and advice on how to manage them.
Be careful with this stuff. I know someone who had a severe allergic reaction and had to go to the hospital. It's better to be safe and consult your doctor if you experience any weird symptoms.
I used it for a while and had no issues. It's best to use it sparingly and as directed. As long as you're not putting it on your face or large areas of your body, you should be fine.
