Has anyone experienced severe side effects from taking Famotidine 10mg Tablets?
I've been taking Famotidine 10mg Tablets for a few weeks now to manage my heartburn and indigestion, and I've noticed some unusual symptoms. I had a really bad allergic reaction to Famotidine. It was terrifying—hives, swelling, the works. I had to go to the ER. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, DO NOT WAIT. Get to a doctor immediately.
I've had a couple of episodes of dizziness and a really fast heartbeat. It was scary! I stopped taking Famotidine right away and talked to my doctor. They recommended a different medication that works just as well without the scary side effects.
