Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Brinzolamide 1% eye drops for glaucoma?
I've been using Brinzolamide 1% Ophthalmic Suspension for a few months now to manage my ocular hypertension. It's been effective, but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced any severe side effects. The warning label is pretty scary, and I want to know if these rare side effects are something to truly worry about. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Brinzolamide is a sulfa drug, and those can cause some serious issues for some people. If you have any kind of sulfa allergy, it's definitely something you need to discuss with your doctor right away. It's rare, but the risks are real. You might want to monitor your eyes and overall health closely.
I started using Brinzolamide a few weeks ago, and I've had some blurred vision. It's not constant, thankfully, but it's definitely noticeable. Has anyone else experienced this? I might need to talk to my doctor about it next time I see them.
I've been on Brinzolamide for a year and haven’t had any severe side effects, but I do get a bad taste in my mouth sometimes. Overall, it's been manageable.
Make sure to clean your eye area before applying the drops to avoid any irritation or infections.
