Has anyone else experienced severe skin irritation from Acne Medication 10% Lotion 29.5ml and if so, how did you manage it?
I recently started using Acne Medication 10% Lotion 29.5ml to treat my acne. It works by killing bacteria and unclogging pores, which is great, but I've been experiencing some really intense skin dryness and redness. Wondering if anyone else has had these issues and how you dealt with them. Also, is it normal for it to cause peeling? I'm on my second week and it's getting pretty uncomfortable. Any advice on managing these side effects or recommendations for alternative treatments would be greatly appreciated! Also, what are the common side effects people have experienced? I know I should contact my doctor, but I also want to understand the spectrum of experiences out there. Thanks in advance!
This lotion is great! I have been using it for a month and my skin is looking so much better. I didn't experience any side effects, but I did start using a gentle moisturizer afterwards.
Acne Medication 10% Lotion is difficult to tolerate in the summer. I had to switch to a different treatment because the dryness was unbearable. If you're experiencing these side effects and feel like they might be a deal breaker, do not wait and consult your doctor.
I had the exact same problem. Try applying a thin layer of moisturizer before putting on the lotion. It helped me a lot.
I think this lotion is great, but I definitely notice more dryness in the winter. I use a really thick moisturizer at night to combat it.
I never had any side effects from this lotion. Maybe your skin is more sensitive. Have you tried using a lower concentration?
