Has anyone else experienced severe side effects with Nitro-Time 2.5mg ER Capsules for angina?
Nitro-Time 2.5mg ER Capsules have been a game-changer for managing my angina, but I've recently started experiencing some concerning side effects. I've read that these can include severe reactions like allergic responses, dizziness, and even chest pain, which seems counterintuitive. Has anyone else had similar issues? I've contacted my doctor, who recommended continuing the medication for the time being. Any tips or insights from others would be appreciated. Also, does anyone know the best way to report side effects to the FDA?
Don't ignore the side effects. I had a bad reaction and almost died. I was in tears, my family was in tears. I just don't think it was worth it.
Be very careful with these meds, I think they can lead to tolerance. These meds helped me hugely for a year or so but the dosage needs to go up each time it seems. Have others found this?

I have had severe dizziness. Of course, go to your doctor, but I found laying down and taking slow, deep breaths helped me immensely.
Pale skin for me too. Stay hydrated. I swear it helps more than you’d think. Has anyone tried GABA supplements for the restlessness?

I've had excessive sweating and nausea, but my doctor said it's part of the deal. It's awful, but I guess it beats the chest pain. Stick with it for a few more weeks and see if it stabilizes.
I had a really bad reaction when I first started, got the hives and everything. A friend of mine suggested lowering the dosage. I did and it was great. My doctor did not agree.
The flushing is the worst. I wear long sleeves and drink a lot of ice water. I keep telling my doctor and he agrees that is is a trade off, but it is a big one. Rings and necklaces are hard, I get red all over my neck and fingers.
My wife is on it and she uses a low dose. It helps with her angina.
