Has anyone been successfully treated with Aubagio 7mg Tablets for MS? What should I expect from the side effects? How does Aubagio compare to Gilenya?
I've been recently diagnosed with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) and my neurologist has suggested Aubagio 7mg Tablets. I'm curious to hear from others who have been treated with it. How effective has it been for you? What side effects have you experienced and how severe were they? If you've tried Aubagio, how does it compare to other medications like Gilenya? Aubagio has been a game-changer for me. I switched from Gilenya because of the side effects (weight gain and slow heart rate), and Aubagio has been much better. I have noticed some joint pain, but it's manageable. Also, I get regular blood tests to monitor my liver function, which is standard with Aubagio, and so far, I've had no issues. It's definitely worth a try, in my opinion.
Just wanted to chime in and say I've been on Aubagio for a few years now and it's been great. My neurologist warned me about the side effects, but honestly, I had a couple of headaches and some stomach upset at first. I've had no really serious side effects. I think it's worth the risk.
