Haloperidol 5mg Tabs: A Lifesaver or a Minefield?/
I've been prescribed Haloperidol 5mg for my schizophrenia, but the side effects list is terrifying. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'm curious to know if the benefits outweigh the risks. Is it worth the risk of severe side effects to get relief from hallucinations and delusions? I've heard people say it's a lifesaver, but I've also heard horror stories. What's your experience? How bad the side effects really are? Do they go away after a while? Any advice on managing the side effects? I really want this medication to work, but I'm scared.
I know someone who had a really bad reaction to this drug. They ended up in the hospital with some serious issues. I'm not trying to scare anyone, but please be careful and talk to your doctor about any concerns you have.
I had an allergic reaction to this medication. It was terrifying. I noticed the rash and swelling in my mouth and throat, so I immediately went to the ER. I'm glad I did because it could have been life-threatening. I would be weary of trying this again.
I had a headache and dizziness. It felt like I was having a panic attack. I called my doctor and he adjusted my dose. If you feel bad don't think about it, call your doctor.
I started taking this drug and it made me feel so drowsy and unmotivated, I couldn't even leave my bed. It's a struggle to decide if this is worth it.
I've had acne and restlessness. Not a big fan of the side effects. But it's helping me calm down from my Tourette's so I'm willing to bare it.
