Gas vs Induction Cooking: Which is the Better Choice for Your Kitchen?
I'm considering upgrading my kitchen appliances and I'm torn between gas and induction cooking. I love the control and responsiveness of gas, but I've heard induction is more energy-efficient and easier to clean. Has anyone made the switch from gas to induction, or vice versa? What are the pros and cons you've experienced? Also, does anyone have tips on how to choose the best stove based on their cooking habits and preferences?
I've used both and prefer gas for high-heat cooking like stir-fries, but induction is great for things like melting chocolate or simmering sauces. Maybe get a dual fuel range?
I can't stand induction. It's too sensitive and requires special pots and pans. Pizza ovens and gas grills for me.
Induction is way better for the environment. Gas stoves leak methane, even when turned off. Food for thought.
I love induction. It's like cooking on a smooth, glass surface that does all your heavy lifting for you - no flames licking your cookware, and no worries about gas leaks or fumes.
As a professional baker I can't wait to get a gas range oven. I can't do everything I need to with my induction range.
I've seen the induction drop, but what do you even do with a gas range? Shifting from an electric top to a gas range is something I'm pondering.
