Gadavist 1mmol/ml Pf Syr Inj, 7.5ml: My MRI Experience and Side Effects
I recently had an MRI with Gadavist contrast and wanted to share my experience. The injection helped highlight some issues in my spine that wouldn't have been visible otherwise. However, I did experience some side effects. I felt a warmth at the injection site and had a mild headache afterwards. Nothing too serious, but it was unsettling. I wanted to know if anyone else had similar experiences or more severe side effects. Also, how do you report side effects to the FDA? Is it a easy process?
I had a really bad reaction to Gadavist. I broke out in hives and had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER and was hospitalized overnight. It was terrifying.
I experienced kidny problems after my Gadavist MRI. I had to go through some tests and it was a hassle.
I had a similar experience with the warmth at the injection site. It was weird but not painful. I guess it's just one of those things you have to deal with when getting an MRI.
Anyone else feel like they were on fire after the injection?
