Fexofenadine 60mg Tablets: My Experience with Allergy Relief - What are yours?
I've been taking Fexofenadine 60mg tablets for my seasonal allergies and have found them quite effective in relieving symptoms like sneezing and itchy eyes. I switched to this from an older antihistamine that left me drowsy, and I must say the difference is night and day. I am hardly sleepy at all. My doctor mentioned that Fexofenadine works by blocking histamine, which is what causes our bodies to react to allergens. This seems to be true, as my reactions to pollen have been manageable. I've heard that some people experience side effects, though. Has anyone else had any issues with this medication? I'd love to hear your experiences.
I’ve been taking it for a few months now and have had no issues so far. I think the best part is that it doesn't make me drowsy, I can take it before going to work and not worry about feeling tired.
Fexofenadine is a wonder drug. My kids have been taking it for a few years now, and no more vomit inducers for them. They only had stomach troubles initially due to the medicine.
I had a friend who said she got major facial flushing from it. She stopped taking it and found something else that didn't make her skin look like a tomato.
I took them once and got majorly dizzy. Had to stop immediately. Anyone else have this issue?
